Dish Overview

The Dish

Round out your morning meal with this sweet and savory side dish. Diced sweet potatoes are heartily seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika before being roasted tender and slightly crisp. Serve this side with your favorite breakfast dishes, especially breakfast recipes that need a little healthy carbohydrate balance. Recipes like our  Breakfast Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms, Garden Green Breakfast Scramble, and Breakfast Scramble Stuffed Peppers are some of our favorite dishes that go well with this sweet potato hash.

Hacking this Recipe

Even as a trained professional chef, peeling and prepping sweet potatoes can be a real pain. Feel free to use diced frozen sweet potatoes or fresh diced sweet potatoes to save on prep time. If using frozen potatoes, thaw and pat them dry with a paper towel before baking. You want your potatoes to be pretty dry to get that little bit of a crispy crust.
